Old-Fashioned Oats

Old-fashioned oats, also known as rolled oats, are a versatile and wholesome pantry staple. Packed with fiber, vitamins, and minerals, they’re perfect for homemade granolas as well as any other hearty breakfast!

Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin seeds are nutrient-packed powerhouses rich in magnesium, zinc, and healthy fats. They’re especially beneficial during the follicular phase of your menstrual cycle, as they help support hormone balance, boost energy, and promote healthy estrogen levels!

I recommend pumpkin seeds that are organic and unsalted like this one from Yupik!

Flax Seeds

Flax seeds are tiny but mighty, packed with fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, and lignans that support hormone balance. During the follicular phase of your cycle, they help promote healthy estrogen levels and improve digestion, making them a perfect addition to your follicular phase!

These organic flax seeds from Mulberry Lane Farms is a perfect option!

Almonds

Almonds are a nutrient-dense snack packed with healthy fats, protein, vitamin E, and magnesium. They support heart health, boost energy, and promote glowing skin!

For this recipe you will need unsalted almonds, preferably organic. These organic almonds from 365 Whole Foods Market are a perfect choice - and they are already sliced, making the process even easier!

Coconut Oil

For this recipe, you will need an oil to roast the granola in. I use coconut oil, since I love the taste of it and its nutritional value! Coconut oil is a versatile superfood rich in healthy fats and antioxidants.

I recommend getting an organic, cold pressed and unrefined coconut oil like this one from Nutiva!

Natural Sweetener

To give the granola a nice sweet taste and an extra crunch, I like to add a natural sweetener such as raw honey or agave nectar. For this recipe I use agave nectar, but feel free to use any other natural sweetener of your choice!

I like this organic raw agave nectar from 365 Whole Foods Market!
